Over time trends change and it is always interesting to see what people favour. In the case of composite front doors, two colours have become increasingly popular – Irish Oak and Anthracite Grey.
Irish Oak is a soft oak finish. It is far more mild than our alternative ‘Oak’ finish, which has a stronger colour. It is easy to see why people favour this attractive finish over some of the others. For starters, it is not widely available as it is exclusive to only a few suppliers. Secondly, it gives a lovely fresh look to the property it is installed in. Coupled with the realistic-wood grain finish of our composite doors, it makes a lovely choice for any of our door styles. If you prefer, Irish Oak is also available as a smooth finish, without the wood-grain appearance.
Anthracite Grey can be translated as ‘Coal Grey’. Combined with a contemporary composite door style from our Italia range and Abstract glazing (as in the image above), the Anthracite Gray finish creates the perfect sleek and stylish look for modern properties.
Both Irish Oak and Anthracite Grey are available with matching coloured door frames. Colour can be on one side or both sides, depending on your preference.
If these two colours are not your cup of tea, we have 14 other composite door colours for you to choose from.
